Let Them See You In Me, God
I am always quick to reflect on and relay to others, that for some people we may end up being the ONLY Bible that they read.
In the New Testament, we have access to what the Books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John have to say. But in our everyday comings and goings, I constantly wonder what has/does/will the pages of my life that are captured in the “Book of Brandi” represent.
It is my prayer that by the way I choose to communicate and in the actions, I take, it is the GOD in me that is observed.
Yes, I go through unexpected, and sometimes what appears to be paralyzing and catastrophic tests and trials, but I have learned to speak a word of encouragement over myself because I know that the God I serve has the power to cause walls to come tumbling down; and that same power will cause giants to be annihilated.
That same faith, is why I am so quick and eager to encourage others.
My actions are no longer rooted in those seasons of not knowing my worth, where I allowed the world to be my measuring stick and compass. That old person, who was connected to a victim mentality is long gone. As a child of God, I was born to be VICTORIOUS!!
I have the greatest example, in Christ Jesus, of how I am to live my life and the representative I am supposed to be.
The love that I feel and give, the forgiveness I have received and offer others and the JOY that I am able to express, even when feeling pressed on all sides, comes from the Lord.
That is why each day, it is my hope that when I interact with others, it is God’s reflection that they see in me. I know that I am still a work in progress but I pray that in all I do, God’s goodness and faithfulness in my life is always communicated.
Be Blessed My Encouragement for Your Journey Family!!
